Cornerstone is home to a wonderful MOPS group. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an organization for moms whose children are between the ages of birth to kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that these early years are foundational in the mother-child relationship, and filled with unique needs for both mom and child. Through the friendships we develop, the learning we share, and the fun we have, the Cornerstone MOPS group provides a caring atmosphere where you can relax and know you are not alone in this demanding job of mothering preschoolers. We help you be the very best mom you can be!
Cornerstone MOPS operates on a school-year schedule with meetings every first and third Thursday of the month from 9am-11:30am. Special play dates and mom’s night out activities are planned throughout the MOPS year as well. Cornerstone MOPS meets at local parks during the summer. See the church calendar for upcoming events or contact the church office at 314-968-9808 or Dana Stuemke at 314-646-7597 for more information on how to join.
Meetings typically consist of a brunch, devotion, and a program (guest speaker or topical presentation followed by discussion). Exceptions include the activity meeting and Halloween party shown below.
