Ion, Svetlana, Vladimer, Daniela and Emanuel Cheptene
A world-class Taekwondo athlete and coach from the former Soviet state of Moldova, Ion Cheptene begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting began reading the Bible to discover Christ’s team-building strategies, but found his Savior instead. For the past 15 years, Ion has shared his dramatic testimony around the world while building an impressive network of strategically-placed disciples of Christ. Through the ILT, we hope to build on these relationships while providing access to leadership training, discipleship tools, and partnerships with local EFCA (or like-minded) churches.
Ion now makes his home in St Louis, Missouri, where God continues to use him and others through ILT to equip leaders for His Kingdom. Ion’s family includes his wife, Sventlana, and his three children, Vladimer, Daniela and Emanuel.
