World Amateur Cup coming to St Louis!
During the summer of 2010 South Africa will play host to the most popular sporting event in the world – World Cup 2010. The World Cup consists of 32 teams from 32 nations competing in the soccer world championship. The St Louis World Amateur Cup is a St Louis-based soccer tournament that will feature tbd teams from tbd different nations, who are all represented among the international, multi-cultural landscape of St Louis Missouri.
The St Louis World Amateur Cup tournament has been organized by a group of St Louis area churches who want to provide good soccer competition, a fun family event, and spiritual encouragement and resources to the different international communities in the St Louis area.
The tournament will be held at the Tower Grove Park, and will be played on Jul 17-18.
